Turbo Fitting Kits: The Hardware You Need for a Turbo Job

A turbo replacement isn’t just about the turbo itself. The gaskets between turbo and exhaust manifold, the oil feed and return pipes, the heat shields, the studs and nuts — all need to be replaced or at minimum inspected. A turbo fitting kit bundles the consumables for a typical replacement.

What's in a kit

Exhaust-side gasket (between turbo and manifold). Compressor-side gasket (between turbo and charge pipe). Oil feed pipe and gaskets. Oil return pipe and gaskets. New mounting studs and nuts (often torque-spec specific). Heat shield where applicable.

Why each piece matters

Exhaust-side gasket: the joint runs at 800°C; old gasket material doesn’t survive a second installation. Oil feed pipe: often partially blocked or restricted from the old turbo’s wear — restricting flow to the new turbo would kill it. Studs and nuts: the high-temperature thread is usually beyond useful re-use.
