Product Information

This automotive test probe is designed for checking voltage, continuity, short circuits, and poor earth connections. It is also suitable for energising components such as motors, relays, and fuel pumps, both on and off the vehicle. Supplied with a 4.5-metre cable and crocodile clips, it allows components to be powered up before installation, including cooling fan motors, fuel pumps, window and sunroof motors, wiper motors, relays, and lamps. Additional functions include testing continuity in switches, relays, diodes, fuses, and wiring looms, as well as checking polarity on cables and sockets, and locating short circuits and bad earths. Powered by the vehicle’s own 6-24V DC supply, the unit is fitted with a sensitive trip device to prevent circuit damage.
