Product Information

This self-closing braided sleeving provides a lightweight and easy to install solution for protecting and tidying electrical wiring harnesses. It is flame retardant, has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C, resistant to most chemicals and solvents, has excellent abrasive and noise vibration reduction properties, making it suitable for automotive use. It is ideal for use when repairing an existing wiring harness or loom, along with helping to secure additional wiring for new components such as; aftermarket audio equipment, car alarm, reversing sensors and cameras, or a vehicle tracker. Manufactured from Polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Part of the cable management range from Connect Workshop Consumables. RoHS compliant.

Features
  • Braided sleeving for automotive wiring assembly. Saves time over normal tubular sleeving as it can be fitted with the loom in-situ.
  • Tube ID: 5.0mm. Length: 5m.
  • Unique split & self-closing construction makes it quick & easy to wrap around wires. Also suitable for protecting fuel & coolant hoses, together with helping to prevent rodents chewing through cables & pipes of SORN or classic vehicles which are sat undriven for periods of time.
  • Flame retardant; UV resistant. Not affected by most chemicals and solvents. Operating temperature: -40°C to +150°C.
  • A range of diameters available, see Part Nos. 39878 (5mm), 39879 (8mm), 39885 (10mm), 39904 (13mm), 39906 (16mm) and 39998 (25mm).
