The Gunson Eezi-Lap is a simple tool that fits into a standard electric drill chuck and, when used with fine-grade valve grinding paste such as Part No. 2561, quickly and effectively grinds valves in seconds. Good engine performance depends on properly seated valves. Poorly seated or burnt valves, along with worn guides and stems, can cause hot gases to escape under compression, reducing performance and increasing the risk of engine damage. When correctly lapped (ground), the valve seat should have an even, unblemished matt grey finish. The valve head should also show this same finish on the chamfered face that matches the seat.

  • Kit contains 22 & 28mm suction cups which fit most valves.
  • Chuck size: 5mm Ø (5/16").
  • Suitable for use with any electric or cordless drill. Working speed: 1,000 - 1,400rpm max.
  • Ideal for use with grinding paste, Part No. 2561.
