Product Information

This fault code reader is designed for use on Vauxhall and Opel vehicles fitted with diesel engines manufactured between 1998 and 2001, using Bosch EDC (Electronic Diesel Control) 15 and 17 management systems. It reads and clears both generic and manufacturer-specific diagnostic trouble codes, helping to turn off the engine malfunction indicator light.

  • Applications include: Vauxhall & Opel diesel engines manufactured between 1998 to 2001 with Bosch EDC 15 management systems.
  • Engine applications include: Y20DTH, Y17DTL, 1.7, 2.0 & 2.2L.
  • Lead length: 720mm.
  • Access is gained using the standard 16 pin socket located in the engine bay or under the dashboard. Instructions & full list of fault codes included on the packaging. RoHS compliant.
  • NOTE: This unit will not turn off service lights or reset oil life management monitors including ABS, SRS etc.
