Product Information

The Knipex 13-6 Series StriX Insulation Stripper with multi-component grips, VDE tested up to 10,000V and safe for work up to 1,000V. They conform to DIN EN / IEC 60900. Made from high-grade tool steel that has been forged and oil-hardened, multiple times. Chrome plated finish. The knurled screw and lock nut provide easy adjustment to the required diameter of solid or stranded wire. Also fitted with a shear blade for cutting copper cable up to 15mm (5 x 2.5mm²) and a bolted joint for precise operation with zero backlash. The pliers have a slim design for easy access.

Ideal for single, multiple and fine stranded conductors with plastic or rubber insulation, max 5.0mm or resp. 10mm² cable cross section. Increments in the jaw provide a visual orientation aid for stripping consistent lengths (11mm and 16mm).
