Product Information

Designed to make separating ball-joints easy. The separator nuts are designed to screw on in place of the joint nut and bottom out on the end of the joint thread. This allows an air impact hammer equipped with the taper punch provided to be used to quickly vibrate the joint taper free. Included in the kit are 2 impact nut sizes for larger drive shaft threads allowing the same process to be used to push out stuck splined drive shafts from the hub.

  • Impact nut thread sizes include: M10 x 1.5, M12 x 1.25, M12 x 1.5, M14 x 1.5, M14 x 2.0, M16 x 1.5, M16 x 2.0 and M24 x 1.5.
  • Also includes: 1 x air hammer taper punch.
  • Suitable for the removal of ball joints and drive shafts.
  • Manufactured from Chrome Molybdenum.
  • Time saving over the traditional scissor type ball joint breakers. Designed for use with an air impact hammer, such as Part No. 6031.
