From 2017, the 1.5 and 1.0L petrol engines found across the Volkswagen Group range of vehicles require a special holding tool when working on the camshaft drive pulleys. The Laser 8421 has been specially developed to allow the Laser Part No. 7279 pulley holding kit to be used on these engines.

  • Camshaft holding conversion disc; use with Laser Part No. 7279 or OEM lever.
  • Applications include: Audi A1 (from 2018), A3 (from 2017), Q2 (from 2018) and Q3 (from 2018). Seat Arona (from 2017), Ateca (2018 to 2020), Ibiza (2017 to 2020), Leon (from 2018) and Tarraco (from 2019).
  • Applications include: Skoda Kamiq (from 2019), Karoq (from 2017), Kodiaq (from 2017), Octavia (from 2017), Scala (from 2019) and Superb (from 2017). Volkswagen Arteon (2017 to 2020), Golf (from 2017), Passat (from 2018), Polo (from 2017), T-Cross (from 2019), Tiguan (from 2019), Touran (from 2018) and T-Roc (from 2017).
  • Engine applications include: 3 cylinder 1.0L and 1.5L EA 211 EVO engines, including engine codes: DACA, DACB, DADA, DFYA, DHFA, DPBA, DPCA and DPBE.
  • Equivalent to OEM T10575A. Made in Sheffield.
