The design of Ford’s latest version of the 1.0L EcoBoost petrol engine has changed significantly from the original EcoBoost; gone is the oil wetted cambelt drive, as the latest design is chain driven which means that the engine timing tools have also changed. The Laser 8076 engine timing tool kit has been designed specifically for these post-2018 chain driven engines.

  • Ford applications include: C-Max (from 2017), Fiesta (from 2017), Focus (from 2018), Puma (from 2019) & Transit Connect (from 2017).
  • Applications: engine codes B3DA & B7DA.
  • Kit includes VVT locking tools equivalent to OEM 303-1661, 303-1661/1 and 303-1661/2 and 303-1661/3, VVT camshaft sprocket socket.
  • For removal and replacement of the crankshaft pulley, Laser recommend the use of Laser Part Nos. 7317 adaptor set and 7318 torque multiplier.
  • Made in Sheffield to an EU Registered Design.
