Product Information

The Mercedes-Benz W654 1.6 and 2.0L diesel engines use a timing chain driven high pressure diesel fuel pump. As the timing chain is mounted at the rear of the engine, any work involving its removal would normally require the engine to be removed. The Laser 9422 allows the pump sprocket to be locked securely in place, enabling the high-pressure fuel pump to be removed and refitted without removing the engine.
