Product Information

Pre Chamber removal adaptor and slide hammer kit used to remove the pre-chamber from the cylinder head on early indirect injection Mercedes-Benz diesel engines. Manufactured from carbon steel, with a steel striking weight.

Features
  • Supplied with a double ended adaptor incorporating M22 x 1mm and M22 x 1.5mm threads in one adaptor. Bolt M16 x 1.5mm
  • Engines codes include: OM 601, 602.91, 93, 94, 603.91, 93, 96, 97, 604, 605, 606, 615, 616 and 617.91/93/95.
  • Used after the pre-chamber socket (Laser Part No. 5472) has been removed.
  • Equivalent to OE numbers 602 589 00 33 02 & 667 589 03 63 00.
  • IMPORTANT: Always ensure the threaded bar is well lubricated with molybdenum disulphide grease before use.
